It is with immense satisfaction that we announce the upcoming IV ZYGOMA DAY, a congress focused on the treatment of severe maxillary atrophy with zygomatic implants.
This year, it will take place in the beautiful Puglia, featuring internationally renowned Speakers and, most importantly, the official launch of the ZYGOMATIC IMPLANTS WORLD ACADEMY—the first Global Society of Zygomatic Implantology, already counting numerous colleagues eager to share their experiences for the benefit of our collective knowledge.

Prof. Dr. Andrea TEDESCO
Specialista in Chirurgia Odontostomatologica, il Dr. Tedesco è iscritto al GDC di Londra, UK, dove esercita per la chirurgia con impianti zigomatici.
Research Fellow sul “Trattamento implanto-protesico delle gravi atrofie dei mascellari con l’utilizzo di impianti zigomatici” presso l’U.O. di Chirurgia Orale dell’ Ospedale S. Chiara, Università degli Studi di Pisa.
Presidente della Società Italiana di Implantologia Zigomatica e Pterigoidea.
Docente al Master di II Livello in “Implantologia Zigomatica” presso l’Università degli Studi di Pisa.
Meet Dr. Tedesco, a distinguished Oral Surgeon and leading expert in Zygomatic Implant Dentistry. Author of the groundbreaking book "Gli impianti zigomatici: attualità nelle riabilitazioni implanto-protesiche dei mascellari atrofici", he has pioneered a new minimally invasive technique using zygomatic implants coupled with Piezoelectric Surgery.
With over 800 successful implant surgeries to his name, Dr. Tedesco earned his Dentistry degree and specialized in Oral Surgery at the University of Florence, Italy. His international studies include clinical residencies with renowned international figures such as Prof. Chantal Malevez in Bruxelles.
Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Tedesco obtained a Post-graduate Diploma at the Oral and Maxillofacial Department of Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital, London. A Fellow Member of the Royal Society of Medicine, London, Dr. Tedesco’s outstanding contributions were recognized with a prize for the Best Presentation at the Royal Society of Medicine in London in January 2016, showcasing his expertise in “The treatment of atrophic maxilla using zygomatic implants.”
Currently serving as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Pisa University Teaching Hospital since 2013, Dr. Tedesco is at the forefront of treating severe jaw atrophies with zygomatic implants.
He created the first International Master’s Degree in Zygomatic Implants at University of Pisa, Italy.

Ha inoltre sviluppato una solida esperienza nel trattamento di casi complessi di chirurgia orale e protesi implantare, collaborando con prestigiose cliniche e strutture sanitarie.
Specialist in Oral Surgery and a qualified expert in advanced Implantology, with a particular focus on treating patients with health fragility and severe atrophies of the jawbones.
Dr. Vantaggiato is nationally recognized for his expertise in managing non-cooperative individuals and patients with disabilities.
He has also developed extensive experience in handling complex cases of oral surgery and implant prosthetics, collaborating with prestigious clinics and healthcare facilities.
